Bar Manager – Lagos Hotel

About the role

The Sheraton Lagos Hotel is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead daily operations of its bar and lounge. You will oversee staff, ensure high service standards, and manage inventory while supporting the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise bar/lounge shift operations and staff performance.
• Implement beverage policies and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal liquor laws.
• Manage inventory, cost controls, and budgeting to meet financial targets.
• Develop menus, promotions, and assist servers during peak periods.
• Train staff on liquor control, portioning, and service standards.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and promote exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with other food‑and‑beverage outlets as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to manage bar operations, inventory, and budgeting.
• Strong understanding of liquor regulations and beverage control.
