About the role

The Bar Manager is responsible for daily operations of the bar/lounge, supervising staff, promoting the lounge, and managing liquor inventories. The role ensures guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining budgetary targets.

Key responsibilities

Manage bar/lounge operations, enforce beverage policies and liquor laws.
Control inventory, monitor costs, and conduct beverage sales analysis.
Develop menus, promotions, and assist in other outlets as needed.
Train staff on liquor control, supervise staffing levels, and communicate event details.
Provide excellent customer service, handle guest feedback and complaints.
Support orientation, training, and corrective action plans for staff.

Required profile

High school diploma/GED with 4 years of F&B experience, or a 2‑year degree in Hospitality/Business with 2 years experience.
Ability to enforce legal obligations and manage budgets.

Required skills

Inventory management and beverage control.
Cost control and budgeting.
Compliance with local, state and federal liquor regulations.
Menu planning and promotion development.
