Banking Relationship Manager

About the role

The Banking Relationship Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities, generate leads for loans and investments, and build strong client relationships while managing credit risk.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
• Generate leads and acquire loan and investment business.
• Implement business development and marketing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Assess creditworthiness of potential clients and recommend credit facilities.
• Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals.
• Monitor loan portfolio to ensure timely repayments and minimal defaults.
• Research emerging market trends and new partnership opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years experience in sales, marketing, business development and credit management within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, risk assessment and financial products.
• Proven track record of achieving business development targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to make data‑driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
