About the role
Waya Bank is seeking a full‑time hybrid Banking and Fintech Commercial Manager to lead marketing, sales and business development for its suite of banking and payment products. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships and managing cross‑functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee business development initiatives and cultivate strong client relationships.
- Drive financial growth through sales, partnerships, marketing and advertising activities.
- Manage the marketing & advertising team as well as the sales and business development team.
- Forge strategic alliances with key market players to expand product reach.
- Monitor and optimise cash‑management processes, including transaction settlements and reconciliations.
Required profile
- Proven experience in fintech or banking (mandatory).
- Strong background in marketing, advertising, sales and business development.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales and growth targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
