Bakery Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Bakery Assistant to support our bakers at Qtty Cakes in Lagos. The role involves preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, managing stock, and assisting customers in the bakery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist bakers in preparing ingredients (measuring, weighing, sifting flour, mixing doughs and batters) according to specific recipes.
• Clean, sanitise, and wash baking tools, equipment, counter surfaces, and storage areas in line with food safety standards.
• Receive, unpack, rotate, and store raw ingredients and baking supplies; monitor stock levels and report shortages.
• Greet bakery customers, answer product questions, take special orders, and operate cash registers or point‑of‑sale systems.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of OND.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar bakery assistant role.
