B2B Lead Research Assistant (Part‑time)

About the role

Alpha Global is seeking a diligent B2B Lead Research Assistant to support our European software‑company outreach. This part‑time position is based in Lagos and focuses on identifying potential clients who need additional software development capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Research European SaaS, product teams, digital agencies, IT service providers and partner channels.
• Screen companies for hiring signals, growth activity, active projects, delivery pressure or partnership potential.
• Identify decision‑makers (founders, CEOs, CTOs, managing directors, technical directors, heads of delivery).
• Collect company websites, LinkedIn profiles and source links; write a concise sentence explaining relevance.
• Organise findings in Google Sheets, prioritise as P1, P2 or Skip, and report weekly progress and blockers.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, HR, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• At least 1 year of professional B2B lead or market research experience.
• Proven ability to locate business contacts and decision‑makers using web research tools.
• Fluent written English and strong attention to detail.
• Based in Lagos or able to commute to the office.

Required skills

• Advanced Google Sheets proficiency.
• Web research techniques including Google Search, LinkedIn, company sites and public business directories.
