Automotive Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Automotive Sales Executive to join our growing sales team in Lagos. The role focuses on selling automotive tyres, batteries and related products while building strong relationships with distributors, fleet operators and retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of automotive tyres, batteries and related products within the assigned territory.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and generate leads through regular market visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, mechanics, retailers and corporate customers.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and follow up on orders to meet monthly and annual targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer preferences.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and support timely collections.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure timely product delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience in automotive tyres, batteries, lubricants, auto spare parts or related products.
• Good knowledge of the Nigerian automotive aftermarket.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strong business development and prospecting abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to conduct regular market visits within the assigned territory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
