Associate Electrical & Electronics Engineer

About the role

Novar Star Global Limited is seeking an Associate Electrical & Electronics Engineer to join its fast‑growing hardware team in Port Harcourt. This hands‑on position involves designing, prototyping, assembling and testing electronic products that will be deployed in millions of Nigerian homes.

Key responsibilities

• Design analog and digital circuits using tools such as Altium, Proteus, Eagle or KiCad.
• Program and integrate Arduino, ESP32 and PIC microcontrollers.
• Create PCB schematics, layout files and bill‑of‑materials (BOMs).
• Build and evaluate prototypes, including battery life, motor control and charging systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and implement design improvements.
• Source electronic components from local and international suppliers.
• Perform quality control and document technical specifications.

Required profile

• B.Eng. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of hands‑on experience in hardware design and manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics, BMS, solar charging, IoT and voice modules.
• Proven ability to read and interpret circuit schematics and datasheets.
• Good English communication skills.
