Assistant Food & Beverage Manager – Lagos

About the role

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing assigned food and beverage/culinary operations at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel. The role ensures guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining service standards and achieving financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily food and beverage operations, fostering a motivated and teamwork‑focused environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and staff, responding promptly to concerns and complaints.
• Coach and develop employees, using coaching skills to improve performance and resolve issues.
• Maintain brand service culture, set service expectations, and follow up on guest feedback to ensure satisfaction.
• Comply with corporate accounting procedures and support the General Manager with annual quality audits.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and empowerment across the property.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of food‑and‑beverage or culinary experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, etc., with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service, motivate staff, and handle guest complaints effectively.
