Assistant Driller – Lagos

About the role
The Assistant Driller will support daily drilling activities on our rigs in Lagos, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This full‑time position reports to the Driller and works closely with the rig crew.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Driller in operating and monitoring drilling equipment.
- Help manage rig tools and maintain equipment readiness.
- Participate in daily safety briefings and follow all safety procedures.
- Prepare and deliver routine reports on drilling progress.
Required profile
- Relevant drilling rig operational experience.
- IWCF Level 3 certification or higher.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Assistant Driller.
- Good knowledge of drilling operations and rig equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Previous land‑rig experience is an advantage.
