Artists Relationship Manager – Remote (Nigeria)

About the role

The SM Records is looking for an Artists Relationship Manager to join its team remotely from Nigeria. You will act as the primary liaison for artists and labels, guiding them through distribution, digital rights management and revenue optimisation on major streaming platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard new artists and labels, providing end‑to‑end support throughout the distribution process.
• Coordinate digital rights management, content monetisation and royalty reporting.
• Monitor streaming performance, analyse data and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues and improve artist experience.
• Educate artists on digital rights, revenue models and best practices to boost long‑term retention.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Good knowledge of the music industry, especially digital distribution and streaming in the African/Nigerian market.
• Organisational skills for catalog management, data entry and account tracking.
• Analytical mindset to interpret royalty reports and platform insights.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital music distribution dashboards and related platforms.
