Area Sales Manager – Asset Management

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead the growth of Assets Under Management (AUM) and new client acquisition across the Ibadan and Oyo State region. Reporting to the Head of Retail Sales, you will manage a team of Sales Executives, drive revenue targets, and shape the sales strategy for the asset management business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop Sales Executives to meet individual and team sales targets.
• Design and execute strategies to increase AUM, expand the customer base and improve profitability.
• Generate leads, market intelligence and strategic initiatives to penetrate new markets.
• Implement sales policies, monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
• Recruit, onboard and train new Sales Executives, closing any staffing gaps promptly.
• Maintain high‑quality customer experience, resolve complaints and foster client loyalty.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least five years of sales experience, preferably in financial services or asset management.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue and AUM growth targets.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical skills to monitor performance and identify trends.
