Area Business Manager – Abeokuta North

About the role

The Area Business Manager will lead sales, collections and distribution for Sun King’s EasyBuy solar products in Abeokuta North. Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, you will build and supervise a network of Energy Officers to drive rapid, sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and retain at least 40 Energy Officers using community influencers and local networks.
• Provide comprehensive training on sales, collections, product knowledge, inventory and logistics.
• Define clear daily tasks, routes and targets for Energy Officers and ensure they have ongoing support.
• Conduct weekly field visits and touch‑points with each Energy Officer, resolving issues and reporting to the Regional Business Manager.
• Guide Energy Officers through their first five sales to ensure mastery of sales and collection processes.
• Organise joint field activities such as night activations, market events and community gatherings to boost engagement and sales.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a large field sales team.
• Strong commitment to integrity, ethics and professional conduct.
• Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
