Apartment Manager

About the role

The Apartment Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of serviced apartments, ensuring guests receive exceptional service from check‑in to check‑out. This role combines hospitality expertise with operational oversight to maximise occupancy, maintain high standards, and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in/check‑out, and handle inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards.
• Coordinate housekeeping schedules, supervise cleaning staff, and maintain stocked amenities.
• Manage bookings across online platforms and direct reservations, preventing double bookings and optimising pricing.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, liaise with contractors, and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare occupancy and revenue reports, monitor expenses, and recommend cost‑saving measures.
• Supervise housekeeping and maintenance personnel, schedule shifts, and provide performance coaching.
• Monitor online listings, encourage positive reviews, and recommend promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of experience in hospitality or serviced‑apartment operations.
• Mid‑level professional with proven ability to manage staff and guest relations.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work onsite in Marina, Nigeria, and adhere to local regulations.
