Algorithm Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Algorithm Engineer to join a client of Quik Hire Staffing on a contract basis. The role focuses on solving algorithmic challenges, optimizing code performance, and competing in timed coding contests. You will work from anywhere while collaborating with a global team of competitive programmers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient algorithms for complex computational problems.
• Optimize existing code for speed, memory usage, and scalability in competitive programming environments.
• Participate in timed coding competitions, meeting strict time and accuracy constraints.
• Review solutions with fellow coders to improve collective performance.
• Stay current with emerging algorithmic techniques and competitive programming trends.

Required profile

• Proven ability to write clean, well‑documented code under tight deadlines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills demonstrated through coding contests or hackathons.
• Understanding of time and space complexity analysis for algorithm optimization.
• Experience working independently in a remote, contract setting.
