AI/ML Engineering Instructor

About the role

The AI/ML Engineering Instructor is a live teaching position delivering three classes per week. You will lead Ayonaire Academy’s full AI Engineering curriculum, covering everything from Python fundamentals to modern Generative AI, RAG, LangChain, and Agentic AI. The role emphasizes ownership of student outcomes, turning complex concepts into practical, project‑based lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct live teaching sessions and mentor learners throughout the program.
• Review assignments and end‑to‑end projects, providing constructive feedback to raise work to professional standards.
• Support career readiness through mock interviews, interview preparation, and guidance on presenting AI/ML projects to employers.
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to keep course content aligned with current industry practices.
• Maintain reliable communication and availability for remote classes and team interactions.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in AI/ML engineering with hands‑on experience building end‑to‑end projects across Python, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Agentic AI, and Generative AI.
• Practical experience deploying AI/ML solutions using Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.
• Experience designing and delivering technical training or bootcamps, creating clear learning materials and hands‑on projects.
• Ability to mentor learners of diverse backgrounds, explain complex concepts simply, and give actionable feedback.
• Must be a Nigerian resident and willing to record a short teaching video as part of the application process.
