About the role
The Administrative Manager will oversee all administrative functions at the GDNL Terminal ‘E’ building, ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting the broader objectives of Dangote Ports Operations. This role reports directly to the Head of Human Resources/Administration and works closely with procurement, finance, and facilities teams.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and continuously improve corporate administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
- Partner with Procurement to manage service providers for utilities, events, and staff transportation, including fleet tracking and maintenance.
- Collaborate with Facilities to oversee building maintenance, workspace aesthetics, and janitorial services.
- Manage administrative budgets, track expenses, and assist with processing operational outlays alongside Finance.
- Allocate office spaces for new hires, organize renovations, recycling initiatives, and ensure effective information flow across departments.
- Generate periodic performance and cost analysis reports.
- Plan and coordinate corporate events, meetings, audits, orientations, and training sessions.
Required profile
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, or related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Nigerian Institute of Management).
- Proven leadership and team‑management experience.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
