Admin Assistant

About the role

The Admin Assistant will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and vendors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment at the school.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to parents, visitors, vendors, and other stakeholders courteously.
• Receive and direct telephone calls, enquiries, and visitors appropriately.
• Maintain a professional reception area and provide accurate information about school activities, procedures, and schedules.
• Manage appointments, visitor records, and respond to routine parent enquiries.
• Assist in sending school notices, reminders, circulars and other communications.
• Maintain up‑to‑date administrative records and support daily administrative activities.
• Coordinate school events, meetings, excursions and special programmes, preparing venues and materials as needed.
• Monitor office supplies and notify when replenishment is required.
• Assist with documentation of school fee payments, issue receipts and support staff attendance records.
• Provide administrative support to learners and ensure pupils are directed to the appropriate staff member for their needs.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Residence in Enugu.
