About the role
The company is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage its financial records, ensure compliance with reporting standards, and support day‑to‑day accounting operations. This full‑time position will be based in Lagos state and involves handling payroll, asset registers, and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain an asset register, appraise company assets, and conduct inventory.
- Record, reconcile, and post petty cash and fuel imprest transactions.
- Manage payments, receipts, customer deposits, and issue receipts.
- Administer payroll, control income and expenditure, and audit financial information.
Required profile
- HND or B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a relevant accounting role.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Knowledge and competency in accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
