About the role
Cornerstone Limited is seeking an Accountant to join its team in Marina, Bayelsa. The role supports the financial operations of its supermarket, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and effective budgeting.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for daily sales and expenses.
- Record and monitor all cash, bank and other financial transactions.
- Prepare regular financial reports and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in budgeting, financial planning and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support decision‑making.
- Contribute to smooth supermarket operations through timely financial information.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Support audit processes and provide necessary documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
- A degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
