Accountant – Hospitality (Lagos)

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our fast‑paced restaurant in Lagos. The role involves managing daily financial transactions, preparing reports and supporting budgeting activities within a hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Record and manage daily financial transactions.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor sales, expenses, cash flow and profitability.
• Reconcile accounts and balances.
• Supervise payroll preparation.
• Track pre‑payments, operational costs and inventory controls.
• Provide financial summaries for management.
• Support budgeting and cost‑control processes.

Required profile

• OND/HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality accounting is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with high integrity.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel.
