Accountant – Full‑time (Lagos)

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos on a full‑time basis. The role involves managing the full spectrum of accounting activities, preparing budgets, and delivering accurate financial reports to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions and prepare annual budgets.
• Produce accurate management reports, forecast costs and revenues.
• Handle statutory payments, taxes and deductions in compliance with regulations.
• Support critical financial decisions with reliable data.
• Maintain proper records of all accounting entries.
• Utilise accounting software such as PeachTree, Sage or comparable systems.
• Apply cost accounting and management accounting principles.
• Prepare various financial and management reports as required.

Required profile

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting (or equivalent); additional certifications are a plus.
• Strong business acumen, critical thinking and solid knowledge of accounting practices.
• Proven ability to analyse data and prepare financial statements.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PeachTree accounting software.
• Proficiency with Sage accounting software.
