About the role
We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Abuja. The role involves managing day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting project budgeting within the advertising and media sector.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow forecasts.
- Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and petty cash administration.
- Oversee statutory tax filings (VAT, PAYE, WHT) and ensure compliance with local financial regulations.
- Monitor production budgets, track project expenses, and conduct routine audit reconciliations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certification (ICAN or ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in media, creative or service industries.
