About the role
We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our finance team, responsible for managing accounting transactions, budgeting and financial reporting across our operations in Rivers and Lagos states. The role involves ensuring accurate records, compliance with statutory requirements and supporting strategic financial decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions and prepare annual budgets.
- Produce accurate management reports, forecast costs and revenues.
- Handle statutory payments, taxes and deductions in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain proper records of all financial activities.
- Assist senior management in critical financial decision‑making.
Required profile
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting (or equivalent); additional certifications are a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and ability to prepare financial statements.
Required skills
- Proficiency with PeachTree or Sage accounting software (or comparable systems).
- Expertise in cost accounting and management accounting.
