Accountant – Full-time in Lagos

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos. The role involves managing accounting records, payroll, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, examining, and analysing accounting records and financial reports.
• Appraise, evaluate, and inventory company assets while maintaining an asset register.
• Record, reconcile, and post petty cash and fuel imprest.
• Reconcile payments and receipts, confirm customer deposits and issue receipts.
• Manage all accounting transactions.
• Administer payroll and control income and expenditure.
• Audit financial information.
• Compile and present reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements.
• Perform any other related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Experience with accounting software (advantageous).
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
