Account & Reporting Manager

About the role

The Account & Reporting Manager oversees all accounting operations, ensures accurate financial reporting, and guarantees regulatory compliance. This senior position provides reliable financial information to support strategic decision‑making and leads a team of accounting professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS, GAAP or local standards.
• Coordinate month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes and produce management, board and performance reports.
• Oversee general ledger management, account reconciliations, and the recording of all financial transactions.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and inventory accounting activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements and support tax reporting.
• Develop, implement and maintain internal controls, identify reporting risks and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate external and internal audits, prepare audit schedules and address audit findings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modelling activities.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate the accounting and reporting team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP or relevant local accounting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage month‑end and year‑end closing cycles.
• Experience coordinating audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.
