Account Officer

About the role

The Account Officer will join Roadmech’s finance team in Abeokuta, supporting the company’s automotive and aviation operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting management with timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records and accounting documentation.
• Process and monitor financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile accounts, investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for management review.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support budgeting, financial planning and other accounting functions as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information with integrity.
• Willingness to reside and work in Ijebu‑Ode.
