Account Officer – Finance Operations

About the role

The Foodhub by CWC is seeking an Account Officer to join its finance team. This role will support the restaurant’s financial operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing, reporting, and compliance with internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions, including sales, payments, and receipts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies, and perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and month‑end/year‑end closing activities.
• Collaborate with procurement to monitor inventory records and conduct inventory audits.
• Maintain the general ledger with timely and accurate entries.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support internal and external audits.
• Respond promptly to financial inquiries from staff and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
