Account Manager

About the role

The Suzuki Institute of Alaba is seeking an Account Manager to join its Lagos campus. This full‑time, on‑site position will support students, families and institutional partners by ensuring accurate financial records and smooth account operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with students, families and partner organisations, addressing their account‑related inquiries.
• Monitor and update student fee accounts, resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare regular financial and enrollment reports for finance and academic departments.
• Coordinate with finance, admissions and academic teams to support enrollment and retention targets.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance service quality and compliance with institutional policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial and personal information.

Required profile

• Strong account‑management and customer‑service abilities.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, accounting or billing systems and basic financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Lagos and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field; experience in education or a service‑oriented industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with institutional policies, contract terms and compliance practices is beneficial.
