Account Manager

About the role

The Account Manager will be based in Abuja and serve as the primary liaison for a portfolio of client accounts, delivering tailored recruitment solutions. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on building strong relationships, understanding hiring needs, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with assigned client accounts.
• Gather client hiring requirements and translate them into effective recruitment strategies.
• Coordinate with internal recruiters to track open positions, progress, and deliver timely updates.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and prepare proposals.
• Support negotiations and contract discussions to secure placements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
• Prepare and present regular reports on hiring metrics and account performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management or client‑facing roles within recruitment, HR services, or related professional services.
• Strong relationship‑building, stakeholder management and customer service abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Organizational and time‑management capability to handle multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with experience interpreting hiring data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or equivalent experience.
• High integrity, adaptability and collaborative work style, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM or ATS tools.
• Advanced use of MS Office suite.
• Experience with Sage 300.
• Ability to work with basic reporting dashboards.
