Academy Sales Manager

About the role

The Academy Sales Manager will drive sales growth for Techware’s learning and development programs, working on‑site in Abuja. This full‑time position focuses on identifying new business opportunities and delivering tailored training solutions to clients across various sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the academy’s training programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with enterprise clients in sectors such as Banking, Insurance, Telecom, Health, Retail, and Government.
• Present and promote training solutions, achieving defined sales targets.
• Execute marketing strategies to increase program visibility and uptake.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized offerings.
• Provide feedback to improve program delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven sales and business development experience, including relationship building and customer engagement.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Experience developing and executing marketing strategies for training or learning programs.
• Knowledge of the IT industry, especially in Banking, Insurance, Telecom, Health, Retail, or Government (advantage).
• Proficiency with CRM tools and sales management software.
• Ability to work independently with proactive problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT or a related field.
• Experience in training or education services sales is a plus.
