WASH Officer (NOA) – Multiple locations, Nigeria

About the role

The WASH Officer (NOA) will support UNICEF's water, sanitation and hygiene programmes across several states in Nigeria. This entry‑level position provides technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the WASH programming cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, implementation, monitoring and documentation of WASH programmes.
• Ensure timely, accurate and evidence‑based programme support.
• Contribute to emergency preparedness and response activities.
• Strengthen collaboration with government, partners and stakeholders.
• Provide technical, operational and administrative support, including research, data collection, analysis and reporting of WASH outputs.

Required profile

• National officer at NOA level with an entry‑level professional background.
• Familiarity with UNICEF rules, regulations, procedures and systems.
• Ability to work with colleagues, government counterparts, implementing partners and other stakeholders.
