Warehouse Manager – Production Supplies

About the role

The Warehouse Manager will oversee the safe and efficient handling of a wide range of production supplies, including safety clothing, explosives, grinding media, refractory bricks, oils, mechanical and electrical spares, and laboratory consumables. Reporting to plant management, the role ensures optimal stock levels, compliance with health, safety and quality standards, and contributes to working capital optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all store administration and inventory management activities.
• Manage stock receipts, transfers, issues, returns and maintain accurate store accounting.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels and ensure critical spares and materials are always available.
• Approve purchase requisitions, monitor stock taking and remove obsolete items.
• Prepare monthly store performance reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality management systems.
• Identify training needs for store staff and support their development.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of cement production processes and related material handling.
• Familiarity with health and hazard storage regulations.
• Experience in industrial accounting, cost analysis and working‑capital optimisation.
• Ability to work closely with plant management, production, maintenance, quality control and finance teams.
