Warehouse Manager

About the role

FMR Agency is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead its Lagos warehouse operations. You will be responsible for overseeing receipt, storage, inventory control and dispatch while ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, storage, inventory control and dispatch of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Implement and maintain warehouse processes to improve efficiency, productivity and performance.
• Supervise picking, packing, staging and dispatch activities to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and preservation of inventory to minimise loss and damage.
• Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations and audits, maintaining accurate records.
• Monitor safety standards and ensure compliance with health, safety and operational procedures.
• Manage warehouse personnel, set performance expectations, provide coaching and drive accountability.
• Utilise ERP and WMS tools to monitor inventory movement and warehouse performance.
• Prepare monthly performance and inventory reports for management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen efficiency and service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in warehouse, inventory or logistics management with leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock reconciliation and order fulfillment processes.
• Experience using ERP systems or Warehouse Management Systems.
• Excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead warehouse teams and drive operational performance.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety standards and inventory control best practices.
• High level of integrity, accountability and problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
