About the role

This unpaid, volunteer opportunity allows senior communications professionals to support Ashoka staff and Fellows worldwide. You will join a small elite team of global experts providing consults and project‑based engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level communications, marketing, branding, and digital media consults to Ashoka staff and Fellows.
• Engage in short‑term projects (1‑3 months) tailored to specific needs, delivering expertise remotely.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience in communications, marketing, digital media, or related fields.
• Fluency in English and the predominant language of your region, with one business and one personal reference.

• Core content and design tools for briefs, reports, and decks.
• Presentation and survey tools for audience and employee feedback.
• CRM marketing platforms and marketing automation, including Salesforce.
• Internal communications platforms for newsletters and announcements.
• Social media management across multiple platforms.
• Content Management Systems (CMS) for site updates and blog publishing.
• PR and media tools for media lists, monitoring, and press distribution.
• Analytics and data tools for web and campaign performance dashboards.
• Data handling and spreadsheet skills for tracking and analysis.
• Collaboration, project management, and AI‑assisted tools for campaign execution.
