Videographer & Video Editor

About the role

Capinta Consult Limited is seeking a creative Videographer and Video Editor to produce high‑quality news content for broadcast and digital platforms. You will work closely with reporters, anchors, and producers to capture and shape stories that engage audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Film news events, interviews, field reports and live broadcasts, ensuring clear, stable footage that meets broadcast standards.
• Operate cameras, lighting and audio equipment professionally.
• Edit raw footage into compelling news packages and short‑form content, adding graphics, transitions, subtitles and sound effects.
• Colour‑grade and finalize videos for broadcast quality.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to meet tight deadlines and manage video archives.
• Support social‑media and digital teams with edited clips.
• Maintain equipment, report technical issues and stay updated on editing trends.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Mass Communication, Film, Media or a related field (advantageous).
• At least 2 years of proven experience as a videographer/video editor.
• Portfolio of previous news or video content.
• Available to work Monday‑Saturday.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency with Adobe After Effects.
• Experience using Final Cut Pro.
• Experience using DaVinci Resolve.

What we offer

• Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 70,000 to NGN 150,000.
