Utility Engineer – Water, Boiler & Power Systems

About the role

Harvest Feed & Agro Processing Ltd is looking for an experienced Utility Engineer to manage and optimise the plant’s utility systems. The role ensures reliable water treatment, boiler operation and power generation to support uninterrupted production of cassava‑based products.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and maintain water treatment and distribution networks.
• Oversee boiler performance, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Monitor power generation and distribution to guarantee continuous supply.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of all utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns or operational issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate records of utility operations and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support overall plant operations.
• Identify and implement opportunities for energy efficiency and cost reduction.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of utility management experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.
• Practical experience with water treatment systems, boiler operations and power generation/distribution.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to lead teams and work under pressure.
• Professional engineering certification or membership is an advantage.
• Experience in agro‑processing or related manufacturing sectors is a plus.
