Truck Driver – Logistics & Transport (Port Harcourt)

About the role

The Truck Driver will join Intels Nigeria Limited’s logistics team in Port Harcourt, operating company trucks to move goods, equipment and materials between the company’s facilities, client sites and other designated locations. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the oil and gas supply chain by ensuring safe, timely and compliant transportation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Load, unload and secure cargo according to company procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery documentation and DOT compliance records.
• Follow scheduled routes, coordinate with dispatch, logistics and yard teams to meet delivery timelines.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating heavy trucks.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience driving heavy trucks in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with regional road networks around Port Harcourt.
• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in oil & gas or port logistics is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and a safety‑first mindset.

Required skills

• CDL Class A licensing.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and log‑keeping.
• Ability to load, unload and secure cargo safely.
