Treasury Specialist – FX & Capital Markets

About the role

The Treasury Specialist will drive the Foreign Exchange (FX) revenue performance for Wealth and Retail Banking clients in Nigeria. Working closely with the Head of Capital Markets Products and Sales, the role ensures the successful delivery of the Capital Market Products and Solutions (CMPS) strategy across all stages.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the FX and rates marketing and delivery strategy within the CMPS framework.
• Achieve budgeted growth targets for CMPS, focusing on FX and cross‑selling Fixed Income and Wealth Lending solutions.
• Design and launch product bundles that meet country and segment needs, proactively bringing them to market.
• Execute FX deals and related processes in line with departmental operating instructions.
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s risk management framework and all relevant policies.
• Uphold the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct, embedding the highest standards of ethics, regulatory, and business conduct.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Wealth Retail Banking, Markets, Legal, Compliance, Credit Management, and external clients.

Required profile

• First degree (any discipline).
• ACI Association certification and ACI Dealing certification.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple functions (double‑hat role) and take responsibility for FX revenue performance.
