Territory Sales Executive – Solar Home Systems

About the role

The Territory Sales Executive will drive sales of Solar Home Systems (SHS) across multiple territories in Nigeria, expand market presence and manage customer relationships to meet sales targets and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive SHS sales and market expansion within assigned territory.
• Manage agents, sales leads and the customer pipeline effectively.
• Monitor sales performance and report insights to management.
• Conduct product demonstrations and community activations to raise awareness.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
• Support customer onboarding, registration and documentation processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and local stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth installation and service delivery.
• Work closely with collections teams to ensure timely customer repayments.
• Track competitor activities and provide market feedback.
• Achieve and exceed assigned monthly sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum of HND or BSc in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 1‑2 years’ experience in a solar energy company.
• Proven experience in Solar Home Systems (SHS) sales.
• Strong territory management and grassroots sales experience.
• Good communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
• Basic understanding of SHS installation and after‑sales processes.
