About the role

The Admissions Counselor (Telesales Specialist) converts leads into enrolled students by proactively engaging prospective applicants, guiding them through the admissions process, and ensuring timely collection of fees. This remote position focuses on daily outreach, application support, and relationship management to drive enrollment revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily outreach to prospective students via phone, WhatsApp, and email to introduce programs and encourage applications.
• Assist applicants in completing forms, review submissions for completeness, and evaluate eligibility.
• Provide personalized counseling throughout the admissions journey, clarifying program details, fees, deadlines, and expectations.
• Explain payment procedures, follow up on enrollment fee deposits, and coordinate with the Finance Team.
• Maintain regular follow‑up communication, nurture leads, and record all interactions in the CRM.
• Submit regular reports on lead progress, payment status, and successful enrollments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Education or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of telesales, call‑center or customer‑service experience.
• Previous experience in admissions or educational services is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools such as Zoho or Salesforce.
• Experience using communication platforms like WhatsApp and ManyChat.
