Telesales Representative – Solar Solutions

About the role

Join DonJed Energy as a Telesales Representative and help promote sustainable solar solutions to customers across Nigeria. This full‑time, hybrid position combines outbound calling with customer relationship management to drive sales and support the company’s clean‑energy mission.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to present solar products and services.
• Qualify leads, address product questions, and close sales in line with targets.
• Explain pricing, financing options, and installation timelines clearly.
• Document all interactions in the CRM system and follow up on warm leads.
• Schedule appointments or site visits for field sales and technical teams.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve sales scripts and share customer feedback.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on products and industry trends.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with clear phone etiquette.
• Proven customer service experience and ability to build trust.
• Demonstrated telesales or inside‑sales experience meeting targets.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work independently in a hybrid setting.
• Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous exposure to renewable energy or utilities is an advantage.

Required skills

• Comfortable using CRM tools.
• Experience with call systems.
• Proficiency in basic office software.
