Technical Sales Officer

About the role

The Technical Sales Officer will drive new business and nurture existing accounts for Acceltage Consulting, focusing on industrial and manufacturing customers in Lagos. The role combines customer relationship management with technical product knowledge to meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new customers.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on opportunities and close sales.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations and product discussions.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Gather market and competitor intelligence.
• Achieve agreed sales targets.
• Maintain accurate sales and customer records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective customer service and order fulfilment.

Required profile

• Minimum OND in a related field.
• At least 2 years of sales or business development experience, preferably B2B, industrial or technical sales.
• Experience selling to manufacturers is an advantage.
• Science, engineering or related technical background is desirable.
• Strong prospecting, communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Results‑driven with ability to achieve sales targets.
• Willingness to travel and visit customers.
• Based in Lagos or willing to relocate.

What we offer

• Monthly remuneration of NGN 200,000 – 250,000.
