Technical Manager - A&C

About the role

The Technical Manager – A&C will lead concrete quality procedures, mix‑design optimisation and raw‑material management for HBM Nigeria. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will ensure safety compliance, drive cost‑effective mix designs and support customers with technical assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the quality manual, analyse QC results and track KPIs for concrete and raw materials.
• Conduct monthly safety visits, document compliance and champion safety actions with the HSE Manager.
• Select, characterise and validate raw‑material sources; prepare mix designs to meet specifications and standards.
• Maintain and update the mix‑design database, manage concrete test results and support statistical analysis of production.
• Provide technical support to sales teams, address customer complaints and contribute to product‑related claim management.
• Monitor raw‑material consumption, benchmark plant performance and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Executive‑level professional with at least 10 years of experience in concrete quality control, mix‑design and raw‑material management.
• Proven ability to lead safety initiatives and work closely with HSE functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI tracking and statistical analysis.
