Teaching Assistant (Hybrid)

About the role

The Teaching Assistant will support classroom educators in delivering coding lessons across primary and early‑years classes. Working hybrid from Lagos, you will combine on‑site classroom assistance with remote tasks such as record‑keeping and feedback provision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers during coding lessons and guide learners through interactive workbook activities.
• Help students grasp programming concepts by providing clear, step‑by‑step explanations.
• Support micro‑teaching delivery strategies and monitor lesson completion progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to teachers and communicate directly with educators to improve delivery.
• Perform light administrative duties, including updating student records and maintaining teaching materials.
• Contribute ideas for enhancing teaching resources and classroom engagement.

Required profile

• Strong teaching assistance and education skills to support classroom instruction.
• Clear, empathetic communication ability to explain technical concepts simply.
• Comfortable teaching science and coding fundamentals to early‑years and primary learners.
• Experience working with children, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Ability to manage a hybrid work model, balancing on‑site and remote responsibilities.
• Organizational attention to detail for logging educator progress and updating materials.
• Minimum diploma or degree in Education.
