About the role
The Tax Supervisor will lead tax reporting, planning and compliance activities, supporting the regional tax management team at SLB in Lagos.
Key responsibilities
- Perform tax compliance reviews for CIT, WHT, VAT, PIT and related taxes.
- Prepare, review and file corporate and indirect tax returns, ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
- Support external audits, internal reporting and cash repatriation projects.
- Assist the Tax Manager on tax‑related projects, restructuring initiatives and process automation.
- Mentor junior tax team members and contribute to continuous improvement of tax controls.
Required profile
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- 4‑6 years of tax practice experience, preferably from a reputable professional services or audit firm.
- Professional qualification or membership of a national/international Chartered Accounting or Taxation Institute is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of tax regulations, audits and compliance processes.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP; energy‑sector exposure is a plus.
