Tax and Financial Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Tax and Financial Auditor to conduct comprehensive audits for clients across Lagos, Rivers and Abuja. The role involves examining tax documents, financial records and accounting systems to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Visit client sites to examine tax documents, financial records and accounting systems, and develop audit plans.
• Design and execute auditing processes in line with industry standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risk areas, review financial procedures, and document findings, including taxable income, deductions and non‑taxable expenses.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, status updates and recommendations for internal teams.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with legal documentation requirements.

Required profile

• BSc/HND in Accounting or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CPA (advantageous).
• At least 3 years of experience in tax and financial auditing, preferably with government revenue services or audit firms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
