About the role

Pawayu Africa is building an Industrial Operating Platform that will unify commerce, logistics, fleet management, IoT and digital services across Africa. The company is seeking senior executives to join the founding team as Strategic Co‑Founder, Technical Co‑Founder, Investor Co‑Founder and Founding Managing Director.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute business strategy, commercial growth and market expansion across the continent.
• Lead technology vision, architecture, AI strategy, platform engineering and cybersecurity.
• Mobilise capital, manage investor relations and develop long‑term financing structures.
• Translate board‑approved strategy into operational plans and ensure execution excellence.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in corporate strategy, venture building or technology product development.
• Track record of fundraising, investor engagement and African market expansion.
• Deep understanding of enterprise software, cloud services and digital transformation.
• Strong network in venture capital, private equity or development finance.
