STEM Instructor

About the role

The STEM Instructor will join STEM Professionals in Rivers State, Nigeria, delivering engaging, hands‑on STEM lessons to learners of various ages. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on translating curriculum objectives into practical classroom and laboratory experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver STEM lessons and activities aligned with the company’s curriculum.
• Facilitate classroom and lab sessions, guiding students through projects and experiments.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment for all participants.
• Collaborate with colleagues, attend training sessions and support community outreach events.

Required profile

• Demonstrated teaching ability, preferably with experience in STEM workshops or classroom settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, a STEM discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience working with children or young adults in educational or coaching environments.
