Staffing Services Manager

About the role

eRecruiter Africa is a recruitment consulting firm focused on talent acquisition, management and mobility, and is looking for a Staffing Services Manager in Lagos. The role covers employee relations, HR administration, recruitment support and client-facing account management.

Key responsibilities

• Support the company and the wider business, and handle employee relations and performance management
• Coordinate and liaise with government bodies where necessary
• Support internal and external employees across HR functions and resolve issues as they arise
• Help develop and implement HR policies, and respond to internal and client HR inquiries
• Maintain personnel and HR records (payroll, personal information, leaves) in the database
• Support recruitment and hiring: sourcing candidates, background checks, interviews, shortlisting, employment contracts, orientation and onboarding
• Schedule meetings, interviews and HR events and keep the team's agenda up to date
• Manage key accounts and build new client relationships through networking and lead generation

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• ACIPM/SPHRI or another relevant certification is compulsory; an MBA or MSC is a strong plus
• High level of professionalism and discretion
• Excellent verbal and written communication, people skills and problem-solving aptitude
• Team player with a results-driven approach, smart, focused and passionate about people management
• Very technology savvy and very detail-oriented
• Willingness to work long days, as this is not a typical 9-5 job
